Practical Info For A Potential Buyer, Here are some useful information for a potential buyer of this kit:
1. My set did not come with replacement battery cover (shown in the literature) that is used to connect the GPS to the mounting hardware. This is not a problem if you want a newer GPS that came with its own screw on hardware, making it unnecessary cover of the battery. But if you lose that little piece will not be able to mount the GPS receiver, the battery cover unless you happen to have another kit (like the bike mounting kit).

No GPS? Boring…, In order to benefit fully from the TOPO! You really need to install it on a laptop computer and is connected to a GPS. I have neither.
Which is good, but amateur radio operators and other 2-way radio, the profiles of height from wherever they are, the mountains or repeater stations or mobile laptop will want to come and talk to her. In other words, to see what is blocking their line-of-sight or will be.

Having a look inside of phone, shows where the GPS COMPASS chip is, SIM slot, and micro SD. Also I am testing Garmin XT with 3D viewing, which passed OK, with a 15SEC 3D fixed location, it finds internal GPS on COM port2, Satellite signal is full strength very nice!, Tomtom 7 test coming shortly. Be weary of any advertising GPS showing Navione, Navione is a chinese sample program of how the GPS works it is for simulation purposes, it does not mean phone has a built in GPS. GPS software using internal GPS should be: Garmin Que/ GPS gate, Tomtom Navigator 6, or tomtom 7, google earth, Garmin XT, live search, bluetooth turned off, please see other videos that show clearly bluetooth is off.
