If this is the case, you will want to be sure that you have an aviation GPS that you can take with you into each of the planes. Not all planes are equipped with the most functional global positioning systems, but you should have one on board with you when you take off. Without it, you could run into a lot of problems such as obstacles and even where you should be landing could be a problem without a GPS.

Almost all portable VFR Flight Tracker GPS devices are evaluated in an emergency, you surely would be able to fly IFR. Great jeppesen base maps are standard on these units. Probably the most used feature on all portable devices, the air is the excellent HSI. Full Jeppesen chart database, which also ARTCC, FSS frequencies are also in the top flight tracker GPS units included. The VFR units in the final approach waypoints, which could prove useful whenA panel fails or a VFR deteriorate suddenly.

The maps even show roads in cemeteries in the middle of nowhere. After speaking w/ Garmin it requires downloading an interface or you can buy the DVD/CD version and transfer from a PC to the unit.
