Trucker GPS systems made their way to the group of quality electronic sales items at a time when the existing systems were found incompetent to attend to the needs of the trucks, vans and trailers. Many of the extant GPS systems available were exclusively meant for regular vehicles, and heavy vehicles like trucks benefited little using such standard GPS solutions. Alleyways and low underpasses which usually nod a positive signal for the regular motor vehicles are not permissive to the smooth transport of the trucks. Quite frequently, the truckers are encountered with such hitches where the standard GPS solutions offer bare or petit information to anticipate such impediments.

The maps even show roads in cemeteries in the middle of nowhere. After speaking w/ Garmin it requires downloading an interface or you can buy the DVD/CD version and transfer from a PC to the unit.
